White Privilege

She listed all of her privileges to show the magnitude of white privilege. She wasn't just writing it for others to see. She was showing herself all the advantages she has in her favor that she never asked for. These advantages were given to her through birth, and she can't do anything about it. The list is also to show white's that these advantages are real, and that it is often unfair to people of other races to go through something because they are not born with the advantage of white skin.  

The advantages that she lists are actually accurate, and most white people aren't aware that they have all of these advantages, and maybe even more than her. One of my white friends from high school gets upset when white privilege comes up in conversations because she never wanted it, but she still gets looked at different compared to P.O.C in my classes because of her skin. She has cried over the situation because she sees how the unfairness effects her friends. She believes that everyone is equal, but she also knows that these advantages throw equality out the window, and it's something that she can’t change nor control.
