Economic Flaws

I think I would have to say I agree with most of my fellow bloggers on this topic. In Richard Wilkinson’s Article “How economic inequality harms societies” he talks about all the problems in our world today involving the economic side of the world we live in today. I do not think that there is a way we can all ever be totally equal or that there is a way to fix this problem but I do believe that there are things that are being done wrong. The problem with this economic system that really makes me mad would be how we give money to lazy people. I am all for giving money and helping people out, I am not in any way saying that the rich should or shouldn’t help the poor or anything like that because that is way too into the politics side of this and that is not what I’m getting at. I just think that if a person is not even going to graduate from high school they should not be getting anything paid for by the government. That is pure laziness and i don’t think we should help people like that who are lazy. These people will just keep having kids and not working but get money for it. These are the parents who get to take their kids to school and take their kids lunch and go on field trips or to whatever basically and they don’t even have to work. The parents who do not get to do fun things like this are the ones who graduated from high school and college and have to get up and go to work every morning to support their family because money is not just given to them. I do understand that college degrees are harder for everyone to get but to not have a high school diploma is not okay. It is free schooling and really all anyone has to do is pass. Show people how you’re trying and then maybe money from the government will be a little bit more acceptable. My main point from all of this is that it will never be equal because there are too many lazy people in this world and so we need to make more rules rather than just give out money to the people who do absolutely nothing.
