"Dadbods"

"The dad bod is a nice balance between a beer gut and working out.” (Spencer Kornhaber) I think this quote summarizes why women and men both put up or enjoy the “dadbod”. Simply because it is versatile. It shows a commitment to the gym by kind of staying in shape, but not a complete and udder sacrifice to clean eating and gym days all days of the week. It shows that your man can go out and enjoy himself by throwing a few beers back with his buds for some much needed relax time. The writer Kornhaber in my opinion hit the nail on the head. I am not sure about if women think if it “sexy” as Kornhaber said but they should rest easy knowing we are comfortable with our lifestyle. Spencer Kornhaber said that women he interviewed find that men with dadbods were more attractive because it made them feel better about themselves as women always are fighting for that "the holy size zero." I think Spencer Kornhaber is trying to big picture this also in saying that if men aren’t all chiseled then maybe women will not try to kill themselves to look perfect and fit the modern conformity of trying to slim down to that perfect size.
